Nabu's Circle

A small circle, a single speaker, and a real conversation — every two weeks, a different Iraqi specialist shares their experience with a highly engaged group.

What It Is

A circle, not an audience

Nabu's Circle takes its name from Nabu, the Mesopotamian god of wisdom and writing — the patron of knowledge passed on. That's the idea behind the program: instead of a large talk to a passive room, we keep the circle small — five men and five women, plus organisers — so a single Iraqi specialist can actually talk with the group, not just at it.

Every two weeks brings a new speaker from a different field, sharing their experience directly with a small, highly interested audience. Because the circle stays small, spaces are limited each session.
